POACHED

Janel Wright Design worked with the owner of Poached to create a very welcoming, family-oriented space to enjoy a great breakfast. This extremely approachable space boasts a massive amount of natural light from the floor to ceiling windows on either end, highlighting the tall exposed wood ceilings and custom light fixtures hung from above. We utilized the use of light woods with curved lines and hints of green to allow for a pleasant, yet enticing dining experience. When incorporating Poached branding into the design, we knew we did not want to go with a corporate approach. We worked with a local artist to produce a bold, and original mural, that incorporated the family-oriented vibe, while keeping things fun and fresh. With the use of modern tiles and neutral mid-century inspired palette, we made the main focus of the restaurant the colorful food on guest's plates.
